Soda Ingredients

Below are the ingredients of the sodas that were used in the experiment.

Coca-Cola (Classic)

Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sucrose, caramel color, phosphoric acid, natural flavors, caffeine.

Diet Coke

Carbonated water, caramel color, aspartame, phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate (to protect taste), natural flavors, citric acid, caffeine.

Vanilla Coke

Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sucrose, caramel color, natural flavors, phosphoric acid, caffeine.

Cherry Coke

Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sucrose, caramel color, phosphoric acid, natural flavors, caffeine.

Pepsi

Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar, caramel color, phosphoric acid, caffeine, citric acid and natural flavors.

Dr Pepper

Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar, caramel color, phosphoric acid, artificial and natural flavors, sodium benzoate (preservative), caffeine.

Sprite

Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sucrose, citric acid, natural flavors, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate (to protect taste).

    Diet soda is actually worse for you than normal soda. In any case, both types are disgusting and bad for you.

    pops (especially DIETS, unfortunatly) containing SODIUM BONZOATE are bad for you! this ingredient can cause cancer!

    Actually its the aspartame that is the cancer causing agent in the diet soda.
