I made breakfast this morning of a bowl of oatmeal with some blueberries, and for some odd reason, I actually looked at the label on the blueberries and saw that they were from Hammonton, NJ.  Makes sense, it’s probably not that far from the city, and we try to use local farms as much as possible.

And then I forgot all about it.

Then I was talking to my friend who lives in Jersey and she mentioned that she was driving home and had stopped to eat in a place in Jersey.  She mentioned the town, and I mentioned that I had never heard of it.  Then she said that it was the blueberry capitol of the world.  I said, wait, was it Hammonton?  Yup, it was.

Weird how things come full circle sometimes.
