For the month of September, in celebration of Vermont’s same-sex marriage allowance, Ben & Jerry’s is renaming their “Chubby Hubby” ice cream “Hubby Hubby”.  Ben & Jerry’s was founded and is made in Vermont.

I love Chubby Hubby.  When I took a factory tour of Ben & Jerry’s many, many moons ago, I got a Chubby Hubby t-shirt from the gift shop, which I still have (although it’s not a public wearable shirt, it’s still a good inside shirt).  Additionally, the other day, when I was buying milk at the deli and waiting on line to pay, I caught myself staring at a pint of Chubby Hubby, and it took every ounce of willpower to not buy it.
