A small Alaskan town is devastated after learning that Taco Bell will not be opening a restaurant there.
Bethel may be the largest town in bush Alaska, but it still barely tops 6,000 people; it’s reachable only by boat or plane; and Subway is as close as it’s ever managed to come to fast food.
Are they really upset that they’re not getting a Taco Bell? Clearly they’ve never eaten at one before. Besides, if they get a Taco Bell, that means that mastering the three shells is not far behind.
