$30 million worth of maple syrup has been stolen from Quebec’s strategic reserves.

Forget about the upcoming election in Quebec, the big news out of the province is the huge breach of the province’s strategic reserve of maple syrup.

The Atlantic delves a little deeper into why Quebec has strategic reserves of maple syrup in the first place (I’m glad they do).

When they find the bastards, I say they cover them in maple syrup, tie them to a tree in the woods, and let the bears deal with ‘em!
