Aquarium
On September 7, 2002, for my 29th birthday, my parents gave me a 10-gallon aquarium kit. It consisted of an All-Glass 10-gallon aquarium, a box filter, pump, 5 lbs. of sand colored gravel, 3 plastic shrubs, a packet of Stress Coat (with Aloe Vera), a packet of Stress Zyme, some goldfish food, and a lighted top for the tank.
Since that time, I've been both stimulated and frustrated by this hobby. A correctly functioning tank is a joy to watch, however, when things aren't going well, it becomes a hurricane of trial-and-error (mostly error) to figure out what's gone wrong and how to fix it.
