Is Toshiba finally giving up on HD DVD?

Sounds like Toshiba has finally admitted the obvious...that Blu-ray won the format war.  Here’s hoping that they do close up shop and we can all move on with our lives.  And congratulations to Sony for finally getting one of their formats widely adopted.  Here’s hoping they don’t screw it up, which it sounds like they are well on their way to doing.
